The Summer House
Built at the time of the Lodge in 1932, the Summer House enjoys a traditional thatched roof on which a stunning climbing rose and a Clematis Montana Reubens have made their home. Largely unused for many years, trellising has been added and five highly scented Dixieland Linda roses will be planted in the autumn to create an outdoor summer dining and play area for 2016. An old mulberry tree grows beside the thatched summerhouse providing shade and a glut of fruit each autumn.
