The Stody Family Fun Day

Another magical day at Stody’s beautiful gardens awaits Norfolk’s youngsters on Sunday 5th May (free for under 12s). We have it on good authority that the thousands of flowers lining its woodland pathways are home to plenty of pixies and fairies, as well as the odd naughty pirate hiding their treasure.

A wide range of activities and farmyard animals - both the cuddly and not so cuddly variety - will be available for everyone to enjoy. There will be a brilliant Fun Dog Show, exciting treasure hunt and traditional fete games on the lawn.

New for 2024 is a free kids (and parents!) 'animal journey' yoga session with the wonderful Hannah The Strong Yogini.

Free ‘animal flow’ yoga session at 3pm - for children, and adults too!

There will also be an art activity session with the esteemed Mary Blue. Mary runs art workshops at many north Norfolk schools and is an established artist herself.

Mary will lead a session at 2pm on Sunday 5th May. Each child will be given materials to paint and create a rhododendron out of paper plates which will then be exhibited in the gardens at 3.30pm. Cost for the art activity is £3 per child, payable in advance via Ticketsource or by cash at the entrance to the craft area within the gardens on the day.

Mary will judge the children's creations and an awards ceremony will take place at 4pm.

Ice-creams and delicious burgers and sausages will be on offer as well as the full run of technicolour gardens and wide open spaces. The rhododendrons are perfect for making dens and exploring whilst carers and family can relax and enjoy the garden’s wonderful colours.
